1.1 - Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is the disintegration of the process of thinking and emotional responsiveness. Function impairment-incongruent from reality.
It is essentially a psychotic disorder wherein individuals have a major break from reality and how they perceive the world is vastly different to how an unaffected person views it.
1.2 - Mood (Affective) Disorders: Depressive Disorder (Unipolar) and Bipolar Disorder
Mood Disorders: characterized by feeling sad, irritable, empty, or a loss of pleasure.

This is accompanied by other symptoms that affect an individual’s ability to function normally and conduct day-to-day tasks.
1.3 - Impulse Control Disorders
Impulse control disorders are characterized by the repeated inability to resist the impulse or urge to carry out a behavior.
Impulse Control Disorders consist of the following:
1. Kleptomania - Stealing
2. Pyromania - Setting Fires
3. Gambling Disorder
1.4 - Anxiety Disorders and Fear-Related Disorders
Generalized Anxiety Disorder:
Long term condition that is characterized by intense persistent and unreasonable anxiety about everyday life.
1.5 - Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is characterised by the presence of obsessions or compulsions, or most commonly both. Obsessions are unwanted, repetitive thoughts, images, or urges.
Obsessions are most commonly due to anxiety.
